Windows 1o will reach the end of support on the 14th October 2025. This means Windows 10 devices will no longer receive critical security updates or technical support from Microsoft. While your PC will continue to function, due to the security implications we strongly recommend upgrading to Windows 11.
Key things to consider
- Security vulnerabilities – Once Windows 10 reaches its EOL, any new vulnerabilities will not be addressed, leaving systems exposed to security threats.
- Compatibility problems – Continuing to use outdated operating systems like Windows 10 can lead to compatibility issues.
- Higher maintenance costs – Finding support and maintenance for Windows 10 will become more difficult and expensive.
- Increased risk of data breaches – Outdated security measures can make it easier for cybercriminals to breach systems and access sensitive data.
- Compliance issues – Operating on unsupported software in certain industries can lead to non-compliance resulting in fines and legal penalties.
