We are currently investigating an issue on our DSL network. Around 50% of our live sessions disconnected at approximately 16:30 today and immediately redeployed to the remainder of the network. We are investigating the cause of this incident with our suppliers however the network has sufficient headroom such that the base should see no degradation in service or slow speed issues.
Some of your end users will have noticed a temporary drop in service however we have seen a negligible increase in calls to the service desk indicating that the majority have immediately reconnected.
Advice to affected users
Sessions will redeploy to other parts of the network automatically. If problems persist, please power down your router, wait for 10 mins and then attempt reconnection.
