BT – Planned Network Maintenance – Week Commencing 28th May


When’s this work happening?
Early hours of 29th, 30th, 31st of May and 1st June.

What does it affect?
Broadband connectivity.

How long will it take?
Up to six hours each time.

What does the work involve?
We’ve received notification from our suppliers about maintenance work that is scheduled to take place in the following areas this week. The outages take place overnight and the specific maintenance windows are listed below.

29th May
Midnight-6.00am – Bristol / Glasgow / Peterborough
Midnight-6.00am – London Southbank
5.00am-7.30am – Hodnet / Market Drayton
5.00am-7.30am – Peamarsh

30th May
Midnight-6.00am – Colindale / Derby / Faraday / Glasgow / Preston

31st May –
Midnight-6.00am – Colindale / Colombo / Derby / Falkirk / Preston / Wolverhampton
Midnight-6.00am – Birmingham Telephone House

1st June
Midnight-6.00am – Faraday / Leeds / Manchester / Milton Keynes / Newcastle / Preston / Sheffield

Although these are the areas we have been notified of, due to the nature of the broadband network these outages may affect customers nationwide.

Yes, there’s a chance that you may be disconnected from the internet for a period of time during the maintenance window.

Is there anything else I need to know?
Any end users having problems connecting once the maintenance is complete are advised to log into their router interface and click connect
